Perhaps this is at the heart of the Mediterranean way of life: not always rushing toward what comes next. Staying a little longer. Letting a moment unfold. Allowing something to simply be.

A long lunch that doesn't need to end.

The beauty of a fabric, a silhouette, a quiet afternoon.

MEDITERRANEAN CHIC is my artistic interpretation of Mediterranean living — expressed through fashion, femininity, atmosphere and the beauty of everyday moments.

It is a collection of 30 hand-drawn fashion illustrations, each accompanied by a quote, creating a visual journey through a slower, more sensual way of life.

Because Mediterranean fashion, to me, is about more than clothing.

It is about fabrics that invite the eye to linger.

Flowing silhouettes that move with the body and the breeze.

Natural textures that feel soft against the skin.

Colours inspired by the sea, the sun, the earth and the surrounding landscape.

It is fashion for women who live consciously.

Women who move between the beach and the boardroom.

Between barefoot mornings and dressed-up evenings.

Women who want to express themselves without losing their naturalness.

Who embrace their femininity and use clothing not to become someone else, but to enhance who they already are.

Women who understand that beauty does not need to be rushed.

about MAREN TH SAHIN

I have wanted to become a fashion designer for as long as I can remember. From primary school onwards, I worked towards that dream and was accepted into one of Germany’s leading universities of applied sciences to study fashion design.

Then, life changed direction.

Sometimes, things happen that make you let go of a path you once thought was yours. I left my fashion design studies and went on to study Virtual Design instead. What followed was almost two decades of working as a Creative Director, creating visual worlds and building brands, before becoming a mentor and creative voice online.

But some dreams never really disappear.

Over the years, I have learned that life does not have to follow a straight line — and that it is never too late to return to a vision that once lived inside you.

MEDITERRANEAN CHIC is my way of returning to mine.

It is the beginning of something I have carried with me for a very long time: a love for fashion, femininity, beauty and the Mediterranean way of life.

And this time, I am creating the vision for myself.
